CVS: Spending the Black Friday ECBs

I took a trip over to CVS to spend the rest of the Extra Care Bucks that I had accumulated on Black Friday. I was down to $8.35 to spend after spending over $25 of my ECB haul last week.  I also had $1 from the week after that.

But even after I had picked out the items I wanted, I still had around $3 left to spend. So I went to my go-to item again, toilet paper. Between last week and this week's trips to Walgreens and here, we should be good for a while.

Here's what I got:

2 Crest Complete @ $2.99 (receive $1 ECB) = $5.98
- 2 $2/1 Crest Complete Toothpaste, Scope Dual Blast Rinse, Oral-B Complete Floss, or Oral-B Complete Toothbrush, exp. 12/31/11 (SS 09/11/11 R)
= $1.98 for two, or 99¢ each (2¢ moneymaker after ECBs)

1 Band-Aid @ $2.99 (receive $2 ECB)
- $0.50/1 Band-Aid Adhesive Bandage, exp. 12/31/11 (SS 07/31/11)
= $2.49 (49¢ after ECBs)

2 Zhu Zhu Pets @ $1.00 = $2.00

1 Light-Up Lollipop @ 10¢ (from clearance shelves)

1 Charmin Ultra 4-pack @ $3.89

Total product: $10.46
Pay with $9.35 in ECBs ($1.98, $1.69, $1.69, $1.50, $1.49, $1)
Total product after ECBs: $1.11
Tax: 68¢
Total out of pocket: $1.79
Total saved: approximately $35.00 (last digits illegible on receipt)
