$5 off $30 coupon in Publix booklet

I received this great Publix booklet in the mail yesterday.  It's for the upcoming Publix Summer Breakfast Sale, and the text reads, "Donuts! Pancakes! Bacon! Savings! June 3-9, 2010  YIPPEE!"

The booklet features some of the sale items for that week.  Some of the Buy One, Get One Free items include:

• Entenmann's Donuts, 8 ct
• Kellogg's Pop-Tarts, 14-15.2 oz
• Simply Potatoes, 20 oz bag
• I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, assorted varieties
• Post Selects cereal, 13-17 oz

P&G Everyday Solutions

I love the week each month when the Procter & Gamble insert comes in the newspaper.  It's chock full of coupons for personal care items and household goods, including elusive ones like toilet paper (but why do I always get only 25¢ off of Charmin?) as well as higher-value ones for toothpaste and mouthwash, among other products.  And, best of all, all the coupons expire on the same day, so I can throw all my copies of the insert away the day after and know I haven't thrown away any coupons that I might use.

So I was excited to hear about P&G Everyday Solutions. By sigining up, you can get even more coupons for P&G products.  As I write this, some of the coupons available are for Bounty paper towels and napkins and for Tide.

And... you can get free samples there, as well!  Some samples currently available are for Pantene, Head & Shoulders, and Pampers.

Quaker Oatmeal deals at Winn-Dixie and Publix

It's a great week for oatmeal lovers!  Both Winn-Dixie and Publix are having deals on Quaker Instant Oatmeal. At Publix, Quaker instant oatmeal is buy one, get one free - the price varies depending on your area, but one price I've seen is $3.89. Meanwhile, at Winn-Dixie, if you buy four boxes of oatmeal at 4/$10, you get a gallon of milk free.

So which is the better deal?

Assuming that a gallon of milk costs $3.09 at both stores, at Publix you'd pay $3.89 * 2 + 3.09, or $10.87 for four boxes of oatmeal and a gallon of milk; the same would cost $10 at Winn-Dixie.

So, Winn-Dixie has the better deal!  And you can make it even better with $1 off coupons that you can print from here.

While writing my article on grocery shopping at Walgreens, I found these really great printable coupons from Campbell's.  They match up well with some of the coupons in this week's ad.  Or, save them to use at your local grocery store!

New Kellogg's coupons

There are some great new Kellogg's coupons over at RedPlum.com!  Here in my household we eat lots of cereal - specifically, the husband and the eldest daughter eat cold cereal for breakfast almost every morning.  I don't - I find I get too hungry mid-morning when I eat cereal, but that's just me, I guess.

Anyway, the coupons are:

I used to wait until I needed a coupon for a deal, but sometimes they reached a print limit and disappeared before I needed them.  Bummer!  So, now when I see a coupon for a product I buy regularly or even occasionally, I print out the coupon, so it's there when I need it.  You should, too!

I was over at RedPlum.com and found a few new coupons!  There's one for buy one Simple Green Naturals hand soap, get one free at Lowe's!  I've never seen Lowe's coupons before, but I'm glad to see it!  I will have to go over there and check out this new product.

Great Catalina coupons at Winn-Dixie

I took a trip over to Winn-Dixie to get some cantaloupes, which were on sale for 99¢ each, and some shredded cheese which was buy one, get one free.  After I paid for them, I received two really great Catalina coupons (that's the little coupon printer that's separate from the cash register).

First, I got a coupon for $1 off my next produce department purchase of $3 or more.  And then, a coupon for FREE Winn-Dixie bread!  No purchase requirements at all.

So, what did I do?  I left my shopping bag with the cashier, went to the bread aisle, and grabbed a loaf of bread.  Checked out again, and woohoo, unexpected free bread!

But that's not all.  After that transaction, two more Catalina coupons printed.  One for $1 off my next soda or water purchase of $2 or more, and one for $3 off my next purchase - of anything - of $15 or more!

I feel like I hit the jackpot!  With the new sales starting tomorrow, I'm going again - hope I get more great Catalina coupons.  And if I do, I'll share them here!
