Publix: Another Italian daze

So I went back to Publix to catch the end of the first week of the Italian Days sale, hoping to beat how well I had done last week. And I think I did! I had a $5 off $30 or more competitor coupon from Winn-Dixie, which they accepted and really helped. And I could have done even better, but my free coupon inserts didn't have the manufacturer's coupons for Sargento cheese or for Hunt's tomato sauce, so it could have been even better!

Here's what I got:

8 Progresso canned beans @ 3/$2.00 = $5.34
- $5 off the purchase of $20 in participating General Mills or Hunt's products Publix coupon (25¢ off each)
= $3.34 for 8, or 42¢ each

12 Hunt's tomato sauce @ 6/$2.00 = $4.00
- $5 off the purchase of $20 in participating General Mills or Hunt's products Publix coupon (25¢ off each)
= $1.00 for 12, or 8¢ each

2 Publix baguettes @ $1.49 each = $2.98
- 2 $1.50 off bread when you buy 6 Hunt's tomato sauce Publix coupon (available in-store)
= 2¢ moneymaker

4 Bertolli pasta sauce @ BOGO $2.79 = $5.58
- 2 $1.50/2 Bertolli pasta sauce manufacturer's coupon from the 2/20 RedPlum insert
= $2.58 for four, or 65¢ each

10 Ronzoni Quick Cook pasta @ BOGO $1.39 = $6.95
- 5 $1/2 Ronzoni Quick Cook printable coupons
= $1.95 for ten, or about 19¢ each

2 Buitoni fresh fettuccine @ BOGO $2.19 = $2.19
(there were only two packages on the shelves)
- 2 $1 off Buitoni pasta or sauce from the 1/2 Smartsource insert
= 19¢ for two, or 10¢ each

4 Sargento shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese @ 2/$4.00 = $8.00
- 4 $1.50 off Sargento shredded extra sharp cheddar printable Publix coupon
= $2.00 for four, or 50¢ each

4 Sargento shredded pepper jack cheese @ 2/$4.00 = $8.00
- 4 $1.50 off Sargento shredded pepper jack printable Publix coupon
= $2.00 for four, or 50¢ each

Total product shelf cost: $74.28
- $5 off $30 coupon competitor coupon
- $25 in coupons
- $31.24 in price savings
= $9.04 out of pocket
Total savings: $65.24

All that for $9! Great job Laura! I bet it has been minute since you shopped like this! This should help stock up your pantry again.
