Cheap baby gifts / $100 Little Me gift code giveaway

Attending a baby shower?  Here's an inexpensive gift that new moms will love!

Make a baby shower basket full of the small things that babies need, such as baby wash and shampoo, diaper cream, lotion, washcloths, and bibs.  Supplement with a few baby onesies, toys, and books and pack them into a gift basket.  Use shrink wrap (available at craft stores or the craft departments of national chain stores) to make a more professional look.   Add a bow and you have a great gift that didn't cost a lot of make.

You can often get the baby items for free or cheap by combining store sales with coupons.  For instance, above are pictured some items I got on sale with coupons at Target and used in a baby shower basket.

You can check the printable coupons at Coupons.com, RedPlum, Cellfire, SavingStar, Target, CoolSavings, Recyclebank, Smartsource, and Coupon Network - all of these often have coupons for baby items.

Another super-cute source for baby gifts is Little Me.   Little Me creates unique clothing that celebrates those fleeting years when newborns transform into young toddlers. At the heart of Little Me is this time of exploring and delight—the magical years of discoverhood. Their products let little ones be little—whether they’re napping, throwing cereal on the floor or crawling through deliciously muddy grass.

Are you or a friend expecting twins, triplets, or more?

To make things just a little easier, Little Me would like to offer moms expecting multiples a “Welcome to the World” gift after your children’s births. To receive the free gift please register for the Multiple Birth Program.

And for everyone, here's a great giveaway: Enter for a chance to win a $100 gift code to Little Me!  (Or, if you wish, you can choose cash via PayPal.)

To enter, use the Rafflecopter form below!  The giveaway will end on 3/4 at 11:59 PM ET.  The giveaway is open to US residents aged 18 and older.

Little Me is a wonderful brand, known by me for high quality and durability. The softness of the fabrics and cuteness of the designs are memorable in my family!

I have done just this for a baby gift only with sentimental items like first tooth boxes, engraved frame, handprint kit...

At baby showers the best items to receive are diapers, wipes, creams, etc. Clothes and age appropriate toys are used only for a short period of time. With my daughter, my sister made so many diaper cakes that I didn't have to buy diapers for her until she was 6 months old. It was amazing!!

I love the Dainty Blossoms Dress! When having my 2nd child my husband fainted while filming and missed the very moment my daughter let out her first cry. All you could see was a pic of the ceiling in the room. You could hear the nurses saying to help him grab him but I still miss seeing her first moments but still feel so sorry for him too.

Love the Dainty Blossoms Party Dress, but a lot of the girls' clothes are so adorable!

I always try to put together an essentials basket for new moms. Everyone else gets clothes and blankeys and cutsey stuff and a lot of times the important things like Oxy Clean and burp cloths get forgotten

Looking on their website makes me want to have a boy. I have 2 girls so far and I'm excited for when I hopefully have a boy someday.

Thanks for the awesome baby shower gift Ideal. I will be going to a baby shower soon and need some ideas :)

I agree with you about the baby basket gift idea! If you watch Target's coupons they often run coupons on their own store brand products which makes it even more affordable.

Sharing the cost of the gift(s) with more than one person can also help reduce costs.
