Publix: A cheesy week


This week's Publix shopping was really cheesy.

I mean, I got lots of great deal on cheese and products containing cheese!

Here's what I got this week:


2 Marzetti cole slaw dressing @ BOGO $3.69
= $1.85 each
(There was a 50¢ off online coupon, but all the prints were gone before I was able to print it.)

2 Fresh Express cole slaw mix @ $1.99 = $3.98
- 2  FREE Fresh Express Cole Slaw wyb Marzetti Slaw Dressing, exp. 1/4/13 (Publix Yellow Advantage)
= FREE

2 Mrs. Paul's garlic tilapia @ $2.25 (on clearance price - normally $4.49) = $4.50
- 2 $1/1 Mrs. Paul's seafood item
= $2.50 for two, or $1.25 each

2 President fat-free feta @ BOGO $5.39
- 2 $1/1 President Skinny Cheese printable (includes fat-free feta)
= $3.39 for two, or $1.70 each

2 Alouette portions @ BOGO $3.49
- 2 $1/1 Alouette Portions Cheese, exp. 2/1/13 (SS 11/11/12)
= $1.49 for two, or 75¢ each

2 Publix cottage cheese @ $2.50 = $5.00
$1/2 Market Pantry Cheese Item Target printable
= $4.00 for two, or $2.00 each

2 Publix cream cheese @ $1.50 = $3.00
$1/2 Market Pantry Cheese Item Target printable
= $2.00 for two, or $1.00 each

4 Ragu sauce @ BOGO $2.67 = $5.34
- 2 $1/2 Ragu Pasta Sauce, exp. 1/4/13 (Publix Yellow Advantage)
= $3.34 for four, or 84¢ each
(There was also a $1.50/2 printable coupon, but again they were all gone before I got there.)

6 Kraft macaroni & cheese @ BOGO $1.65 = $4.95
- 2 $1/3 Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, exp. 1/9/13 (SS 12/09/12 R)
= $2.95 for six, or 49¢ each

- $2 off $25 Doris Italian Market coupon

Total spent: $21.36
Total saved compared to Publix full prices: $42.80

My question is how do you do this I can't just buy a few items i have to buy a weeks worth of grocery. Are you able to do this because you have a stockpile of groceries and if so how long did it take you to create this stockpile plus what is your suggestion on how many news papers to buy with coupons
