Rickland Orchards All Natural Greek Yogurt Bars Review

As a mom of three school-aged girls, I'm always looking for healthy snacks for them to take in their bagged school lunches.  They love to eat granola bars, but I'm not happy with the amount of sugar - particularly corn syrup - that is in them.  And they like the new Greek yogurts, but those do not travel well to school.

So I was really happy to learn about Rickland Orchards All Natural Greek Yogurt Bars!  Rickland Orchards is the first to offer consumers Greek yogurt in a shelf-stable, great tasting bar; and furthermore provide an excellent source of fiber and a good source of protein in each serving. Now, busy parents, active kids and teens, and health conscious consumers can enjoy the benefits of Greek yogurt and probiotics effortlessly.

Rickland Orchards All Natural Greek Yogurt Bars are layered with the finest granola, real fruit and nuts, and authentic Greek yogurt. The combination of our nutritional benefits and great taste are the secret recipe to our successful launch.Their one-of-a-kind bars are available in six distinct flavors – Blueberry Acai, Cherry Almond, Toasted Coconut, Cranberry Almond, Apple & Honey, and Orchard Peach. Rickland Orchards Greek Yogurt Bars contain all natural ingredients, 5g of fiber, 7g of protein, and probiotics.

But how do they taste?  After all, if they aren't tasty, the kids won't eat them.

My family had the opportunity to try all of the six flavors of Rickland Orchards All Natural Greek Yogurt Bars.  I had barely opened the package when my oldest daughter and husband grabbed the Apple & Honey bars.  They both said that they were delicious.

I first went for the Orchard Peach.  I'm used to "peach"-flavored oatmeal, which is definitely not peach-flavored at all, so I wasn't expecting much.  But the first bite gave me the fresh, sweet flavor of real peaches as well as the creaminess of the yogurt.  And while they were sweet, the sweetness was not overpowering.  I finished it off pretty quick!

My youngest is a big blueberry fan, so she tried the Blueberry Acai.  She loved its real blueberry taste, and I liked the addition of acai, the superfruit with lots of nutritional advantages.

The Cherry Almond and Cranberry Almond took a little longer to be eaten, probably because of the addition of nuts.  My kids aren't big nut fans, but I really enjoyed tasting them. The cherry was filled with great cherry taste, and I liked the contrast of the crunchy almonds in the bar.  The Cranberry Almond was just a bit tart, but I liked that taste mixed with the taste of the sweet honey granola.

The Toasted Coconut was the last to be eaten.  I guess coconut is a fruit, technically, but we don't have any coconut fans in the house.  But I'm sure if you like coconut, you'd love this bar.

Overall, we really enjoyed the Rickland Orchards All Natural Greek Yogurt Bars!  And there are other flavors available now that I didn't get the chance to try - there are Strawberry and Peanut Butter flavored bars as well.

Would you like to try them?  They're available on the Rickland Orchards website.  They are sold as single bars, 12-packs and 48-packs of a single flavor, or in variety packs of 12 or 16 bars.  You can also learn more about Rickland Orchards on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.
