Lilla Rose Flexi Hair Clip Review / Giveaway

My youngest daughter is different from my other daughters and me in many ways. Despite being only seven years old, she is far more fashionable than the rest of us. She loves to dress up, wear jewelry, and put headbands, bows, and barrettes in her hair. I'm not sure where this love of dress-up came from - it wasn't me!

So when Sarah Morris, an Independent Lilla Rose Consultant, approached me about doing a review of one of a Lilla Rose Flexi Hair Clips, at first I thought about turning her down.  But then I thought that my daughter would be perfect to try out one of their beautiful products!

The Lilla Rose product line centers around unique, functional, and well made hair jewelry. From their flagship Flexi Hair Clip, they have expanded to Hair Sticks, Orings, Hairbands, and Bobby Pins. From there they rounded the line out with complimentarily designed You-Pins, and Badge Holders.

After looking through Sarah's Lilla Rose website, I selected their Fairy with Aurora Borealis clip, pictured above, as my daughter loves all things fairies.  But which size to pick?  I didn't know, so Sarah pointed me to the Lilla Rose sizing video, which helps you pick the right size clip for your type of hair.

My daughter was so excited when it arrived and couldn't wait to try it out. I was concerned that my very stylish, yet very active, daughter would have the clip fall out of her hair almost immediately, as can happen with cheap barrettes.  But I loved the mechanism of the clip, which holds the hair tightly yet won't accidentally come undone.  There are instructions (which I needed) to help you figure out how to use it, but after the first time it's easy to put on.

You can make a variety of beautiful hair styles with the clip!  Click here to see them.  Here is my daughter showing a few of them.  (Remember, her unstylish mother - me - put her hair up; I'm sure pretty much all of you could do a better job!)

Ponytail

Half ponytail

Tails up

She ran around all day with the tails up hairdo, and only a few strands of hair fell out.  That's a success in my book!

The only downside of the Flexi Hair Clip that I could see is that you might need several different sizes to do different hairdos.  For instance, if you want to do a French Twist, you'll need a larger size clip than you need for a regular ponytail.  One clip will not fit all.

But other than that, I think this is a great product, and I know you'll love it, too!

Would you like to purchase Lilla Rose hair products like the Flexi Hair Clip?  Visit Sarah's Lilla Rose site to check out all of the great products!

And... there is a great sale going on right now at Lilla Rose!  Now through Sunday (10/21) night through midnight, there is a sale on 10% all items, with selected items 15% off!  What a deal!
