Menu plan 5-14-12: Plenty of time to cook

Since school started, I've had days where I had no time to cook dinner, as my children had afterschool activities that involve me picking them up right during the peak dinner preparation time.  So I've been relying on quick recipes.

But now, all of the afterschool activities are over.  So I will have lots of time to cook!  But I'll still probably use many of my quick recipes, as who wants to slave over a hot stove in the warm weather?  But if I want to make something that needs to stew a little, I have the flexibility to do that.

So here are my dinner plans!

Monday - Picadillo over brown rice

Tuesday - 3 Can Veggie Chili over pasta

Wednesday - Fresh Take Salmon Salad

Thursday - Green Pepper Whole Wheat Pizza

Friday -  Roast Chicken, Colorful Pepper Pasta, salad, challah

Saturday: Oven-Baked Banana French Toast

Sunday - takeout!
