I headed out to Western Beef today to pick up not only the usual produce, but also to take advantage of a great deal: 1-pound bags of Flora brand pasta for only 50¢ each. No coupons necessary. That's my kind of deal!

1 head lettuce @ 99¢
1.70 lb plum tomatoes @ 79¢/lb = $1.34
2 scallions @ 43¢ = 86¢
4 cucumbers @ 50¢ = $2.00
2.21 lb bananas @ 59¢/lb = $1.30

Total spent: $12.49
Total saved compared to Western Beef full prices: $9.48
