Walgreens: Getting back in the game

I hadn't been doing the Drugstore Game much in the last several weeks, so I thought this weekend was the perfect time to get back in the game!

Here's what I got at Walgreens this week:

Buy $20 in selected products, get $5 Register Rewards:

2 Goodnites @ $9.49 = $18.98
- 2 $1/1 GoodNites Underpants printable
= $16.98 for two, or $8.49 each

2 Kotex pads @ $3.00 = $6.00
-  $1.50/2 Kotex Natural Balance Pads, exp. 5/5/12 (SS 03/25/12)
= $4.50 for two, or $2.25 each

Subtotal: $21.48
Tax: $1.50
Total bill: $22.98

Pay $20.12 with Flexible Savings Account card (took off $18.98 for the Goodnites and $1.14 in tax)

Total cash out of pocket: $2.86
Total saved compared to Walgreens full prices: $10.48
