CVS: Some clearance deals

I didn't have the time to make a big plan to get great deals with coupons at CVS on Sunday.  But my husband ran out of vitamin D, so I stopped by my local store to see if they had any with a buy one, get one free sale.

They didn't.  But they had something even better: on clearance!

The 200 softgel bottle of 1000 IU vitamin D was reduced to $2.50, from an original $9.99.  So I picked up two bottles.

I also perused the clearance rack and found a jar of cold cream reduced from $5.49 to $1.38.  My eldest daughter is in her school's drama program, and taking off that stage makeup with just soap and water is tough!  The cold cream will really help.

Here's what I got again:

2 CVS Vitamin D3 @ $2.50
1 CVS cold cream @ $1.38

Total product: $6.38
Pay with $5 ECB ($4, $1) from previous weeks

Total product after ECBs: $1.38
Tax: 7¢

Total out of pocket: $1.45
Total saved compared to CVS full prices: $24.09
ECBs received: $1 for using green bag tag four times
