ALDI: 5-cent tortilla packs

I made two trips to ALDI this week - I thought it would be easier just to write a single blog post about them!

On the first trip, there were a few great deals: I found packages of flour tortillas for 5¢ each!  Yes, you read that right!  I also found a Crispix-like cereal on sale for $1.39 and some mint chocolate chips for $1.29 per bag.

Otherwise, I just got the essentials on these trips.

Trip #1:

5 flour tortillas @ 5¢ = 25¢ (originally 99¢ each)
1 grape tomatoes @ 89¢
2 cream cheese @ $1.19 = $2.38
2 milk @ $2.89 = $5.78
1 corn & rice cereal @ $1.39 (originally $1.79)
2 cans beans @ 55¢ = $1.10
1 mint baking chips @ $1.29 (originally $1.99)
1 baby carrots @ 59¢
1 whole wheat bread @ $1.29

Total spent: $14.96
Saved: $5.80

Trip #2:

2 milk @ $2.89 = $5.78
1 3-lb onions @ $1.39
1 12 oz shredded cheese @ $2.99
1 10-pack juice pouches @ $1.79
1 apple juice concentrate @ 92¢
1 whole wheat bread @ $1.29
Tax: 11¢

Total spent: $14.27

where is the Aldi you go to?

Do they have a set time they do their markdowns or is it just ramdon?

I use to stop at the Aldi on 436 near Curry Ford in Orlando about 2x per week(because I drove by it 5 days a week) and found some great deals but now I am not on that side of town and don't drove by an aldi daily I have to go on purpose and I don't find the deals like I use to.
