Who needs coupons? (part 2)

Today I made my second trip to ALDI and the produce store this week (see Who needs coupons? for the first trip). I have been making two trips to ALDI a week lately, which is something I want to avoid - the time and gas for the extra trips adds up! I might need to buy a little more at each trip, just to be sure that I won't need to make a second trip mid-week.

So here's what I got:

Produce store:
2 bunches asparagus @ 2/99¢
3 cucumbers @ 3/99¢

Total spent: $1.98

ALDI:
2 dozen eggs @ $1.09 = $2.18
2 gallons milk @ $2.09= $4.18
1 cottage cheese @ $1.99
1 cream cheese @ $1.29
1 2-pack green peppers @ 79¢
1 bunch bananas @ $1.36
2 tuna @ 52¢ = $1.04
1 flour tortillas @ 99¢
2 whole wheat bread @ $1.29 = $2.58
1 strawberry preserves @ $1.49
1 Parmesan cheese @ $2.39

Total spent: $20.28
