All this fresh produce for under $10!

I went to the 99¢ produce store in my area, which is fast becoming my favorite place to shop. Like last week, they had a 50% off sale on most produce on Friday. Pretty much everything was included except for apples, avocadoes, cucumbers, pineapples, and some dry goods that they also carry.

This time, I got my receipt, but it wasn't specific as to which produce was which - it's just a list of prices. So again this price list per item or pound is from memory.

Here's what I got for $9.56:

1 iceberg lettuce @ 50¢
1 cantaloupe @ 75¢
1 Romaine lettuce @ 50¢
1 bunch bananas @ 25¢/lb
1 bunch basil @ 75¢
1 bag baby carrots @ 65¢
1 package strawberries @ 75¢
1 bag grapes @ 75/lb
6 tomatoes @ 50¢/lb
5 yellow peppers @ 50¢/lb
5 red peppers @ 50¢/lb
1 package blueberries @ $1.25

Total spent: $9.56
