Saving on tissues for school

If your child's list is like my daughter's list, tissues are on the list. And why wouldn't they be? With 25 kids in a class come 25 runny noses, 25 sneezing mouths, and 50 messy hands. So it makes sense that teachers want parents to provide a box of tissues - or, more likely, several boxes!
I usually watch for a buy one, get one free sale at Publix on a brand that also has a printable or newspaper coupon available. When I see that combination, I stock up on lots of tissue boxes and give a bunch to the school.
If you haven't found a great sale/coupon combination yet, you'll want to purchase tissue boxes in bulk - several boxes sold as a single unit. That will save you a lot over buying individual boxes. To save more, you'll want to purchase them at a national chain store which has the lowest possible regular price - for me, that's either ALDI or Walmart.
