Dollar General Gift Card / Procter & Gamble Prize Pack Giveaway

With Memorial Day not too long ago, the majority of us are still thinking about our friends, family, and countrymen (and women!) who are risking their lives for our freedom.

I tear up every time I see one of the videos where children are reunited with their dad or mom when they've returned from combat.  And the winning child artist's Google Doodle from two weeks ago was very touching.

P&G and Dollar General are also thinking about these servicemen and women. It's with this in mind that Dollar General chose Sparky Edwards, a retired and decorated military veteran, as its Every Day Hero for June 2013. Sparky, who was once an at-risk teen, changed his life thanks to the National Guard youth academy. He earned his GED, entered the military, and now is a successful business owner, pursuing his PhD, and volunteers by mentoring at-risk teenagers.

Speaking of Dollar General, did you know you can use coupons there? Pair the P&G coupons from Sunday's paper with the prices at Dollar General for a great deal.
