Publix: Cheap pasta and cereal

This was a pretty good week at Publix!  I was able to get more cereal - thank goodness, since my kids have eaten up almost all of the cereal I had previously stockpiled.  And I was able to get some pasta, also an item which was almost gone from the stockpile.

I also got some bagels, sugar, and granola bars.  Not the most healthful shopping trip, but I definitely saved a lot!

I also purchased some Goodnites for my middle daughter, which brought my pre-coupon total over $50 and enabled me to get a $50 gas card for only $40.  Who doesn't love free gas?

Here's what I got this week:

4 Fiber One cereal @ BOGO $4.55 = $9.10
- 4 $0.75 off ONE BOX Fiber One cereal
=  $6.10 for four, or $1.53 each

2 Multigrain Cheerios @ $1.99 = $3.98
- 2 $0.75 off ONE BOX Multi Grain Cheerios cereal
=  $2.48 for two, or $1.24 each

2 Domino sugar, 5 lb @ $1.99 = $3.98
- $0.75/2 Domino sugar printable (zip 60540)
= $3.23 for two, or $1.62 each

4 Nature Valley granola bars @ 2/$5.00 = $10.00
- 2 $0.50 off TWO BOXES Nature Valley Granola Bars
- 2 $2/2 Nature Valley Granola Bars, exp. 5/31/13 (Publix Grilling Season Flyer)
=  $5.00 for four, or $1.25 each

6 Dreamfield pasta @ 3/$5.00 = $10.00
- 6 $1.00/1 Dreamfield pasta (sign up)
= $4.00 for six, or 67¢ each

2 Publix bagels 4 ct @ BOGO $1.79
= 90¢ each

Total spent: $22.60
Total saved compared to Publix full prices: $38.54
(plus a $50 gas gift card for $40)
