ALDI: Different store, different deals

If you have several ALDI stores in your area, here's a savings tip for you: try shopping at a different one.

I went to an ALDI this week that isn't my usual store, and I was excited to see lots of different items in the discount aisle!  I'm not sure why that would be, since it seems to me that all ALDI stores have the same items.  Perhaps these were special items that ran out quickly in my store, but didn't sell at this location.

In any event, I got some good deals on hidden veggie pasta (love it!) and pickles that I hadn't seen at my store.

Here's what I got:

2 dozen eggs @ $1.49 = $2.98
1 green peppers @ $1.29
1 2-lb onions @ $1.69
1 2-lb mandarins @ $2.29
2 gallons milk @ $3.29 = $6.598
1 1-lb salmon fillets @ $4.49
1 apple juice concentrate @ 99¢
1 3-lb Fuji apples @ $3.29
1 dozen mini bagels @ $1.99
4 vegetable pasta @ 69¢ = $2.76
1 20-ct tortillas @ $1.99
1 sweet pickles @ 89¢

Total spent: $31.23
