Menu plan 12-31-12: Back on the diet again!

On Sunday, I restarted my diet plan that worked so well for me in 2011.  From January through August that year, I lost 28 pounds by cutting carbohydrate foods, other than beans, for six days a week.  That means, no pasta, no rice, no bread, no fruit, no dairy products other than cottage cheese. I ate lots of eggs, veggies, and meat, as well as beans in moderation.  And I drank lots of and lots of water.

And then one day a week, I ate whatever I wanted.

So I'll be back on that... which means I have to menu plan even more!  No making a pot of spaghetti on a day when I haven't had much time to think, much less cook.

Here's the plan:

Monday - New Year's Eve dinner: Balsamic Chicken, pasta for the kids, salad

Tuesday - baked salmon over salad greens

Wednesday -  Chicken with Snow Peas

Thursday - 3 Can Veggie Chili (with pasta for the kids)

Friday - roasted chicken, salad, challah

Saturday - Carbs time!  Pasta alfredo, Caesar salad, garlic bread

Sunday - take out salads

Ha - I don't think repeating yourself is boring, just practical. So funny that someone took the time to complain. It's no problem when "the greatest hits" get played a lot at my house. Even though we don't eat meat (other than fish), I enjoy seeing how you put things together. Thanks!
