Grow your own bananas

Here's a neat offer for frugal folks who'd like to grow their own fruit!

Did you know that you can grow a banana tree inside?  Here in South Florida, some of my neighbors have banana trees in their yards.  But most of you live in areas with a hard frost, so growing bananas in the ground outdoors is out of the question.

But you can plant a banana tree in a pot, keep it outside during the warm weather, then bring it inside to a sunny place for the winter.

This sounds like a great frugal thing to do!  Getting fruit for free, wow!
