Publix: Couponing for fun food

One of the great things about coupons is that you can use them for fun food!

For instance, this week I used a $0.75/1 Sargento cheddar-mozzarella sticks Publix printable and a  $0.55/1 Sargento cheese sticks manufacturer's printable to get cheese sticks for pretty cheap.  Cheese sticks are fun for the kids to eat, but really not necessary.  So I was glad I had coupons to get them this treat!

And I really love feta, but since I've stayed on a tight grocery budget, there really isn't room for such an indulgence.  So when it comes on sale and there are coupons available, I get it.  It's nice to treat myself too!

Here's what I got at Publix this week:

2 Keebler Club crackers @ BOGO $3.87
- $1/2 Keebler crackers printable
= $2.87 for two, or $1.44 each

1 Sargento cheddar-mozzarella sticks @ $3.50

1 Planters peanut butter @ $2.00

2 Prego tomato sauce @ BOGO $2.69
- $0.50/2 Prego Italian Sauce printable
= $2.19 for two, or $1.10 each

2 Chips Ahoy @ BOGO $3.65
-  $1/1 Chips Ahoy Cookies, exp. 8/31/12 (Publix Stocking Spree, August)
-  $0.75/2 Nabisco Cookies or Crackers, exp. 10/5/12 (SS 08/05/12 R)
=  $1.90 for two, or 95¢ each

2 Organic Girl baby spring mix @ $2.99 = $5.98
- 2 $2.00/1 Organic Girl product
= $1.98 for two, or 99¢ each

2 President feta @ BOGO $5.39
- 2 $1/1 President Feta or Valbrso Feta Cheese printable
= $3.39 for two, or $1.70 each

2 Kraft Homestyle macaroni & cheese @ BOGO $2.59
= $1.30 each

Total out of pocket: $18.12
Total saved compared to Publix full prices: $34.72
