CVS: Cheap Honey Nut Cheerios!

It was another blah week at CVS for me.  But I had Extra Care Bucks that were going to expire, so I headed on over there to pick up a few things.

I got some Honey Nut Cheerios, which were 90¢ per box after coupons and ECBs.  From what I understand, Honey Nut Cheerios is the most popular cereal in the United States.  It certainly is the most popular cereal at my house! And I picked up some low-dose aspirin for my husband - we were almost out and he takes it daily.  At buy one, get one 50% off, it wasn't the best deal, but sometimes you have to take what you can get.

Here's all the details:

2 Honey Nut Cheerios @ $2.50 = $5.00 (receive $2 ECB)
- 2 $0.60/1 General Mills Honey Nut Cheerios Cereal printable
= $3.80 for two, or $1.90 each (90¢ after ECBs)
(Other coupons available for this deal: $0.50/1 Cheerios Original Cereal printable and $1/2 Select Cheerios Cereals printable)

2 CVS aspirin @ $2.57 (buy one, get one 50% off) = $3.85

Total product: $7.65
Pay with $6 in ECBs from previous weeks

Total out of pocket: $1.65
Total saved compared to CVS full prices: $12.27
ECBs received: $3 ($2 + $1 for using green bag tag four times)
