Publix: Gourmet food on a beans-and-rice budget

This was a really fun shopping week at Publix!  I was able to get some high-quality food and save as well!

I was able to get types of food that I don't normally buy - blue and Romano cheese wedges, refrigerated tortellini, sundried tomato pesto, and even ice cream bars!   We will have a lot of fun eating all this food!

I could have saved more, but I had neither the Publix Smart Savings booklet nor the Stocking Spree coupon sheets.  But I found both at my store during this trip!  Usually my store doesn't have coupon booklets, but I was able to find both. 

I used the $1/2 South Beach Diet Protein Fit Bars from the Smart Savings book and stacked it with the $1/1 South Beach Diet Bars printable that I had already planned to use and was able to save lots of our favorite protein bars.  I'll have to go back before the sales week ends to get the other deals this week that used these coupons.

=  $6.20 for four, or $1.55 each

2 Frigo Romano cheese @ $2.00 = $4.00

= $3.50 for two, or $1.75 each

8 Barilla pasta @ BOGO $1.65 = $6.60

2 Publix bagelettes, 10 ct @ $1.79 = $3.58
