Walgreens: Ask and you shall receive

Last week, when I posted about the week's upcoming coupons, I noted that there was a $5/2 Coppertone coupon.  I wrote that I hoped for a sale on suntan lotion, as we were pretty much out.

And poof! there was a great sale on Coppertone suntan lotion at Walgreens!  Yay!

I skipped going to CVS this week, but here's what I got at Walgreens:

2 Hefty One zip quart bags @ BOGO $3.49
- $1/2 Hefty Slider Bags, exp. 8/31/12 (SS 05/13/12)
= $2.49 for two, or $1.25 each

2 Post Grape-Nuts @ $2.49 = $4.98 (I received a $1 RR from Post - I didn't know about that deal)
- 2 $1/1 Post Grape-Nuts or Grape-Nuts Flakes Cereal, exp. 7/29/12 (SS 06/17/12)
= $2.98 for two, or $1.49 each (99¢ each after RRs)

1 Scott Naturals paper towels 6-pack @ $5.00
-  $1/1 Scott Naturals Paper Towels (Walgreens, June)
= $4.00
(I had a $1/1 manufacturer's coupon that expired on 6/24; I ended up not shopping that day because my area was under a tornado watch.  Better to lose a dollar than get caught in a storm.)

1 Real Soft toilet paper 12-pack @ $5.00
-  $1/1 Tuff Paper Towels or Real Soft Bathroom Tissue (Walgreens, June)
= $4.00

2 Suave shampoo @ $1.00 = $2.00 (receive $2 RRs)
= $2.00 (FREE after RRs)

2 Coppertone suntain lotion @ $9.79 = $19.58 (receive $10 RR)
- $5/2 Coppertone Suncare Product, exp. 7/31/12 (SS 06/24/12)
= $14.58, or $7.29 each ($2.29 each after RRs)

Total product before RRs: $30.05
Pay with $6.50 in RRs from previous week

Total after RRs: $23.55
Tax: $2.10

Total out of pocket: $25.65
Total saved compared to Walgreens full prices: $29.59
RRs received: $13 ($10, $2, $1)
