ALDI: Cheap sour cream

I took a trip over to ALDI earlier this week. No great deals in the discount aisle, but I found sour cream in the refrigerated case for 59¢. This will be great to use in the taco salads that I planned for in my menu plan.

Here's what I got:

1 5-lb all-purpose flour @ $1.79
1 sandwich bags @ $1.99
1 2-lb brown sugar @ $1.49
2 apple juice concentrate @ 99¢ = $1.98
1 3-lb Granny Smith apple @ $2.59
1 8-oz block sharp cheddar @ $1.79
2 cucumbers @ 45¢ = 90¢
1 celery @ $1.29
1 2-pack green peppers @ $1.39
1 16-oz shredded mozzarella @ $2.99
1 24-oz cottage cheese @ $2.29
1 light sour cream @ 59¢
1 16-oz shredded cheddar @ $2.99
2 gallons milk @ $2.99 = $5.98

Tax: 12¢
Total spent: $30.17

I have been doing it the same method that you have for awhile now and while I try to stick to $100 per week and I did for a long while. It keeps inching back up so far this year it is on average about $113 per week now 13 extra per week is not going to break us, but everything is going up postage, electric, hair cuts, car repairs , everything and so if it is all going up and income stays the same where is it going to come from?
