Learn to fix your sewing machine

Here's some frugal shame for you: I bought a sewing machine years ago... and it's still in the box.

I just haven't made the decision to learn how to use it yet. I bet that it's not all that difficult to sew basic items, but I just haven't made it a priority to learn. And the complexity of today's sewing machines does scare me a little. What if I do something wrong?

So besides some basic sewing lessons, I really need this class from Craftsy: Sewing Machine 911!

Taught by Claudia Miller, in this class you'll learn how to diagnose your machine’s symptoms and how to easily fix the most common issues, including jammed machines, top thread breaks, needle breaks, and more. Claudia also explains the basic parts and functions of every machine.

And best of all, it's a free class! (Woohoo, I love free stuff!)
