Cheap milk at CVS

This week, CVS repeated one of my favorite deals: Buy one gallon of milk at $3.69, earn $1 Extra Care Bucks, limit 2 deals.  ($3.69 is my local price; yours may differ.)  That mean that I can get a gallon of milk for $2.69 after Extra Care Bucks, which is cheaper than the otherwise least expensive milk in my area, ALDI at $2.99 per gallon.

I went earlier this week, but the cooler was broken and CVS was not selling milk at all.  I went back yesterday and found it working, yay!  I paid with a $5 ECB I had gotten for my CVS Beauty Club purchases and  a $1 ECB for using my green bag tag four times, as well as a 75¢ for buying a Mars candy bar.  So it was just a bit of pocket change for two gallons of milk!

So here's the deal:

two gallons of milk

2 gallons milk @ $3.69 = $7.38 (receive $2 ECB)

Total product: $7.38
Pay with $6.75 ECBs from earlier this week

Total out of pocket: 63¢
Total saved compared to CVS full prices: $6.75
ECBs received: $2
