Birthday freebie lists

Welcome to this week's Frugal Follies Frugal Tip!

It's my birthday today!  (Well, there's only a couple of hours left.)  So I thought I'd share some great sites which list birthday freebies!

But first, some tips on getting freebies:

• Be sure to contact the business in question before making a special trip to get your birthday freebie.  The business may not be a participating location.  
• Check for freebies before your birthday, as you might need to join an online club or sign up for a mailing list in order to get your freebie.
• If your freebie is from a restaurant, be sure to tip based on the value of the item you received.
• Bring your driver's license or other proof of your birthday.
• Be sure to visit businesses that give freebies at other times of the year as well!
• Besides the businesses lists in on these sites, check for small businesses in your area that also might offer birthday freebies.
