Save on remodeling your kitchen

I know I'd really love to remodel my kitchen.  I have the original sink, cabinets, and surfaces, and though I've kept them up well, after so many years in a home, they are looking dated.  Unfortunately, now is not the time for me to be remodeling - our goal to pay off our home equity line comes first!  After that, we need to have an emergency fund of 3-6 months of expenses, start contributing to our retirement funds again (we stopped doing that to pay off the debt), and start amassing money to pay for our eldest daughter's college expenses, which is in just a few years!

But someday, I do want to remodel the kitchen, and I'd like to get nice fixtures without spending a lot of money.  So I was psyched to find out about MR Direct, which is a distributor of "MR Direct" brand high quality sinks and faucets. They do not use a middleman, so their prices are always low.

They offer many styles of undermount sinks.  Here's one I really like that's pictured above: 802-White White Double Equal Bowl TruGranite Kitchen Sink.

This is what the MR Direct folks have to say about this sink:
The TruGranite 802 equal double bowl undermount sink is made from a granite composite material that is comprised of 80% Quartzite and 20% Acrylic. Silver ions are added to the sink during the manufacturing process that kill 99% of bacteria on contact. Aside from being anti-bacterial, the 802 is stain and scratch resistant and can resist heat up to 550 degrees. The overall dimensions of the sink are 32 ½” x 18 5/8” x 9 ½” and a 33” minimum cabinet size is required. The sink contains a 3 ½” offset drain and is available in multiple colors. As always, our TruGranite sinks are covered under a limited lifetime warranty for as long as you own the sink.
So if you're looking to remodel, check out MR Direct.  I know I'll keep it bookmarked until the time comes when I've met my financial goals and I can spend money on updating my kitchen guilt-free!
