ALDI: Biggest bill of the year

At ALDI today, I spent more than I think I've spent in 2012!

That's because I ran out of some stockpiled items and couldn't find a good deal on them elsewhere.  So I bought things like plastic kitchen garbage bags, flour, vanilla, and tuna fish here.

On a good note, ALDI temporarily lowered their price on cream cheese to 99¢ per package, so I stocked up in case the lower price doesn't last long.

Here's what I got:

2 dozen eggs @ $1.29 = $2.58
2 gallons milk @ $2.99 = $5.98
4 cream cheese @ 99¢ = $3.96
1 cantaloupe @ 99¢
1 3-lb Red Delicious apples @ $2.99
2 apple juice concentrate @ 92¢ = $1.84
80 ct kitchen garbage bags @ $4.99
1 box juice pouches @ $1.79
1 Parmesan cheese @ $2.39
1 16 oz strawberries @ 99¢
2 cans tuna @ 59¢ = $1.18
1 5 lb all-purpose flour @ $1.69
1 bottle vanilla @ $1.99
1 box raisins @ $1.79
2 whole wheat bread @ $1.29 = $2.58

Tax: 41¢
Total spent: $38.14

I'm so jealous of your milk prices! We have state minimum prices in PA and we pay more for milk than gas
