Publix: Tomato extravaganza

I took a trip over to Publix earlier this week to catch the end of last week's sale. I had found some new (to me, anyway) printable coupons that matched up with the sale, so I stocked up on tomato products - canned tomatoes and salsa. I was also able to get some more Greek yogurt cups.

And I had a $5 off $50 coupon for Doris Italian Market. My Publix takes these as competitor coupons. This one came from a newspaper flyer, but they're also available from Recyclebank.  I had also bought Goodnites for my daughter (not listed here, as those don't come out of my grocery budget), and with that extra $19.99 purchase, I was able to go over $50 before coupons.

Here's what I got:

Photobucket

10 Pace salsa @ BOGO $2.79 = $13.95
- 5 $0.50/2 Pace Product printable
=  $11.45 for ten, or $1.15 each

6 Hunt's tomatoes, 28 oz, @ BOGO $1.99 = $5.97
- 2 $0.60/3 Hunts Tomatoes printable
=  $4.77 for six, or 80¢ each

12 Voskos yogurt @ $1.00 = $12.00
- 4 $1/3 Voskos Greek Yogurt or YoGreek printable
- 4 $1/3 Voskos Greek Yogurt (Publix Yellow Advantage Flyer )
= $4.00 for twelve, or 34¢ each

Total product before coupons: $31.92 ($51.91 including Goodnites purchase)
Total product after coupons: $20.22
Pay with $5 off $50 Doris Italian Market coupon

Total out of pocket: $15.22
Saved: $42.62
