CVS: Wish I knew how much I saved

How much did you save at CVS last year?  Check your first CVS receipt of the year.  Look under Year to Date Savings - it should have your savings as of the last time you visited CVS.

I wish I could tell you how much I saved, but I can't!  My CVS's receipts aren't printing right.  The last few (?) digits aren't printing.  All that's there is "75".  Is that $750, or something around that?  Most likely.  I know it isn't $75, and I highly doubt it's $7,500.

And I can't tell you how much I saved exactly on today's trip, either.  It just says "28."  I guess that's 28 dollars and some change.

I chose to do the Nivea deal with two bottles of body wash and one lip care product, instead of 4 lip care products (which would've been free after coupons and ECBs) because we're almost out of body wash.  It's just as well that I planned that, because when I got to the store, there was only one Nivea lip care product left.  Sorry to all the people who visited the store after me...

Also, the coupon printing machine was out of paper, so I got my Fall 2011 ECBs at the end of the trip.  I was surprised to only get $1... I thought I had done a lot more CVS shopping this fall.  Oh, well, here's to doing more shopping (and lots more saving) at CVS this year!

Here's what I got on today's trip:

2 Nivea body wash @ $4.88 (buy $10 in Nivea products, receive $5 ECB) = $9.76
- 2 $1/1 Nivea Body Wash For Women, exp. 1/15/12 (RP 01/01/12)
=  $7.76 for two, or $3.88 each ($1.38 after ECBs)

1 Nivea lip care @ $2.50
- $1/1 Nivea Lip Care Product printable
= $1.50

4 Skinny Cow candy @ BOGO $4.99 = $9.98
- 2 BOGO Skinny Cow candy printable (maximum value $3.48, or $6.96 for two coupons)
= $3.02 for four, or 76¢ each

Total product: $12.28
Pay with $4 in ECBs ($2, $2) from previous weeks
Total product after ECBs: $8.28
Tax: $1.34

Total out of pocket: $9.62
Total saved: $28.??
Total ECBs received: $6 ($5 from Nivea deal, $1 for Fall 2011 spending)
