ALDI deals: Cheap chocolate chips

After a couple weeks of not doing much shopping, I went to ALDI to fill up the fridge! I bought the usual dairy and produce that I get there, but I also found a great deal on chocolate chips!

ALDI had Baker's Corner mini semi-sweet chocolate chips on clearance for 79¢! And, even better, the 60% cacao bittersweet morsels were only 89¢! I stocked up and bought 8 bags of the semi-sweet and 4 bags of bittersweet. Can't wait to make lots of chocolate chip blondies and chocolate chip pound cake with them!

Here's the full trip:

2 gallons milk @ $2.69 = $5.38
1 salmon fillets @ $4.49
2 large eggs @ $1.39
1 3 lb Gala apples @ $2.99
1.38 lb bananas @ 44¢/lb = 61¢
1 cream cheese @ $1.19
1 12 oz shredded sharp Cheddar @ $2.99
1 frozen apple juice concentrate @ 92¢
8 semi-sweet morsels @ 79¢ (regularly $1.69) = $6.32
4 dark chocolate chips @ 89¢ (regularly $1.69) = $3.56
1 applesauce cups @ $1.29
1 juice pouches @ $1.79
1 sandwich bags @ $1.99
1 crispy oats cereal @ $1.59
1 instant oatmeal @ $1.39
2 whole wheat bread @ $1.29 = $2.58

Tax: 12¢
Total spent: $41.98
Saved: $10.40
