Publix: Cart-filling fun

My trip to Publix today was so fun!  I had lots of coupons for several items, so I was able to get 6 or 8 to 10 or even 12 of each item.  That beats just stocking up on two of an item!  I got the cart pretty full - not overflowing, and not into a second cart.  But it was lots of fun bringing a big cart of products up to the register and leaving without having spent much money.

My out of pocket would've been lower, but I decided to buy a bunch of olive oil, which even with the deal and coupons ended up being $1.99 per bottle.  But these bottles of olive oil will last me quite a while!

And it was lots of fun setting up the items for the picture below, too!

Here's what I got:

6 Pompeian olive oil, 16 oz @ BOGO $5.99 = $17.97
- 6 $1/1 Pompeian Olive Oil or OlivExtra Plus printable
= $11.97 for six, or $1.99 each

10 Campbell's cream of mushroom soup @ BOGO $1.33 = $6.65
- 2 $1/5 Campbell's Condensed "Great For Cooking" Soup printable
= $4.65 for ten, or 47¢ each

10 Hunt's canned tomatoes @ BOGO $1.49 = $7.45
- 2 $1/3 Hunts Tomatoes printable
- 2 $0.40/2 Hunts Tomatoes printable
=  $4.65 for ten, or 47¢ each

1 Publix Raisin Bran @ $1.49

8 Nestle chocolate morsels @ BOGO $3.15 = $12.60
- 4 $0.50/2 Nestle Toll House Morsels printable
=  $10.60 for eight, or $1.33 each

12 Publix yogurt @ 25¢ = $3.00

Total product: $36.36
- $3 off $30 Publix coupon
Total out of pocket: $33.36
Total saved compared to Publix full prices: $64.83

That is a great deal on olive oil, and your final price per item is great. I stocked up on Stayfree this week, and I got a whole mountain at $0.65 each. I think I got 1 - 2 years worth for $12! People looked at me like I was crazy, but stocking up when the price is good is definitely worth it.

Thank you for linking up your savings at the Weekly Savings Linky @ Frugality Is Free.

I spent $59.00 and saved $84.00 , not my biggest savings but that was with 3 turkeys, tortillas(no coupon) tostitos(no coupon) so I was happy.

Geez and I told my husband there was nothing to buy on his trip to Florida. He could have hit Publix for me lol!

Great shopping this week! My stockpile is near complete so I will be able to shop on items that are only 50%-75% off soon.
