CVS: Sweet!
I hadn't been to CVS for quite a while. In fact, it had been so long, that when I went yesterday and ran my card through the coupon machine, out popped my Extra Care Bucks for the summer - which was available on October 1.
And there wasn't all that much that I wanted this week, either. So I just picked up some Halloween candy.
4 Snickers Fun-Size candy @ 4/$10 = $10.00 (receive $3 ECB)
- 2 $1.50/2 Mars Fun Size Snickers, Milky Way, Twix or 3 Musketeers, exp. 10/31/11 (ALL YOU Oct '11)
= $7 for four, or $1.75 each ($1 each after ECBs)
Total product: $7.00
Pay with $5.50 ECB ($5 from a previous week, 50¢ from Summer ECB reward)
Total after ECBs: $1.50
Tax: 42¢
Total out of pocket: $1.92
Total saved: $12.66
Total ECBs received: $3

We don't have that deal in So Cal CVS stores. Instead it's $1.88 a bag. I used the $1.50/1 Mars coupon that came out today and got 4 bags for 38 cents each :)
