Walgreens: School supplies galore

On Sunday, I went to Walgreens. I picked up a few deals, but the main reason I was there was for the great sales on school supplies! Here's what I got:


2 Domino sugar @ $2.39 (with in-ad coupon) = $4.78
- 2 $0.50/1 Domino Granulated Sugar Product, exp. 9/30/11 (RP 06/26/11 R)
=  $3.78 for two, or $1.89 each

5 Campbell's tomato soup @ 69¢ (with in-ad coupon - ad said limit 3 but I got this price for all five) = $3.45
- $1/5 Campbell's Condensed Soup printable
=  $2.45 for five, or 49¢ each

1 Purex laundry detergent @ $1.99
- 50¢ off Purex Laundry Detergent, exp. 8/20/11 (RP 08/07/11)
=  $1.49

1 Aussie shampoo @ $3.00 (receive $1 RR)
- $1/1 Herbal Essences or Aussie Product, exp. 9/30/11 (RP 08/07/11)
= $2.00 ($1.00 after RR)

1 Printworks printer paper @ $1.99 (with in-ad coupon)

6 Penway folders @ 6/$1.00 (with in-ad coupon) = $1.00

4 Penway notebooks @ 29¢  = $1.16

3 Elmer glue sticks 2-pack @ 29¢ (with in-ad coupon) = 87¢

4 highlighters @ 9¢ = 36¢

1 Crayola 24 crayons @ $1.00 (receive $1 RR)

2 Penway composition books @ 49¢ (with in-ad coupon) = 98¢

Total before tax: $17.25
Tax: 76¢
Total out of pocket: $18.01
Total saved compared to Walgreens regular prices: $34.58
