ALDI: Blueberry Hill

I went to ALDI yesterday and saw a wonderful sight: blueberries on sale! They were stacked high on the end of the produce aisle - a veritable blueberry hill.

I was tempted to buy many packages, but knowing that they do go back quickly, I limited myself to two. I'll try to get back before the end of the sale week and pick up a couple more. We love blueberries in the Frugal Follies household, and they're sure to be gone soon!

Here's what I got:

2 gallons milk @ $2.39 = $4.78
1 cottage cheese @ $1.99
2 apple juice concentrate @ 92¢ = $1.84
1 cream cheese @ $1.29
2 blueberries @ $1.39
2 dozen eggs @ $1.19 = $2.38
3 cucumbers @ 49¢ = $1.47
1 3-lb bag Fuji apples @ $3.29
1 bag bananas @ $1.16
1 whole wheat bread @ $1.29
1 flour tortillas @ 99¢

Total spent: $23.26

I bought 5 packs when our Aldi had them on sale for .99 ea last month. Just pour them in a ziploc and toss them in the freezer. They are great in yogurt and cereal and for making muffins etc...
