Publix: ConAgra-vation!

So I went to Publix yesterday, hoping to get some of the great deals on ConAgra products, and hoping to get the $20 rebate when you buy $50 in Publix products, including $25 in participating ConAgra products.

First aggravation: the store did not have the Summer Storm Savings Guide booklet, which contained Publix coupons for the ConAgra products. Grrr. I made a change of plans for items I had planned to buy with the coupons.

Second, although I bought products retailing for more than $50, and ConAgra products worth $25, I'm not sure if I did the rebate right. My total, before coupons, was less than $50 because of the buy one, get one free items. So I'm not sure if I will get the rebate or not. I'm kinda wishing I had bought a few more things, like maybe some canning supplies to make more mango jam, to bring my total above $50 before coupons.

But I'll send it in - we shall see if they will accept it.

Here's what I got:

8 Peter Pan peanut butter @ BOGO $2.37 = $9.48
- 2 $1/2 coupons from the June All You magazine and 4 50¢ off printable coupons (enter code 63829897)
= $5.48 for eight, or 69¢ each

11 Chef Boyardee pasta @ $1.00 = $11.00
-2 B3G1 coupons from the June All You magazine (max value 95¢) and 1 50¢/3 printable coupon (enter code 63829897)
= $8.60 for 11, or 78¢ each
(In retrospect, I could've used two more 50¢/3 coupons, since I bought three to get one free.  Oops.)

4 Hunt's ketchup @ BOGO $1.85 = $3.70
- 2 $1/2 coupons from the June All You magazine
= $1.70 for 4, or 43¢ each

8 Sargento shredded cheese @ $2.00 = $16.00
- 8 $1 off Sargento extra sharp cheddar or pepper jack printable coupons
= $8.00 for 8, or $1.00 each

Total retail value of products (before BOGOs): $53.36
Total product after BOGOs: $40.18
Coupons: $16.40
Total out of pocket: $23.78
Total saved compared to regular prices: $48.49

@Nell - the code is working for me but the peanut butter coupon seems to be out of prints. The manufacturers put limits on how many coupons can be printed total, so the limit must have been hit. Sorry... :-(

I think you'll be fine for the rebate! I had the same concerns but lots of members on the I heart publix forums said they've submitted receipts with a final total below $50 and got the rebate. Some even said they had negative totals and everything went through just fine.
