ALDI: Running out early

Because ALDI is a bit of a distance from my house and off my normal routes, I've been trying to go there only once a week. But when ALDI has the lowest prices for basics like milk and eggs, it's hard to do. I only made it through to Wednesday before running out of these essentials.

So this week, I decided to buy a little more than I typically do. It won't go bad with my voracious eaters, and hopefully the food will last until next Friday.

Here's what I got:

3 gallons milk @ $2.09 = $6.27
4 dozen eggs @ $1.09 = $4.36
8 qt. dry milk @ $5.99
1 bottle apple juice @ $1.49
1 package salmon @ $3.99
3 packages salad greens @ 49¢ = $1.47
2 packages cottage cheese @ $1.99 = $3.98
2 packages cream cheese @ $1.29 = $2.58
2 loaves whole wheat bread @ $1.39 = $2.78
1 package flour tortillas @ 99¢
1 packages blueberries @ $1.39 = $2.78
1 bunch bananas @ $1.65 (44¢/lb)

Total spent: $38.13
