Winn-Dixie: Almost got some fuelperks

I went to Winn-Dixie just to pick up a few things yesterday. I've signed up for the new fuelperks! program, but I'm not really working at it. Frankly, Winn-Dixie's regular prices are more than Publix's, and lots more than ALDI. So I won't be doing all my shopping at Winn-Dixie just to get a few cents off gas. But when there are good sales and deals I'll shop there, and any money I get off gas will be a bonus.

So after this trip, I've spent $44.27 with the new card.  You get 5¢ off for every $50 you spend, so next trip I should earn the bonus.  Not bad for no extra effort.

Here's what I got:

Strawberries @ $1.99 (regular price $3.99)

Winn-Dixie grated Parmesan @ $2.89
(cheaper at ALDI, but I wasn't planning a trip for a few days, and we're out!)

2.07 lb bananas @ 69¢ per lb = $1.43
(again, cheaper at ALDI; these are for my husband to take to work)

Winn-Dixie tuna, 4 pk, @ BOGO $3.59 = $7.18
= 45¢ per can (cheaper than ALDI)

2 Kraft singles @ $2.00 = $4.00
- $1/2 Kraft singles coupon from the 2/13 Smartsource insert
= $3.00 for two, or $1.50 each

Total out of pocket: $16.49
