Publix: End of (Italian) Days

I took a trip over to Publix late on Wednesday, to catch the very end of the Italian Days sale.  I had done really well the previous week, having visited three times (see here and here for details on two of the trips).  The second week wasn't nearly as exciting, though.

I did want to use two $1.00 off peelies that I found when I bought Ronzoni Quick Cook packages the week before - wish there had been more of them!  And I wanted to try the Kellogg's Crunchy Nut cereal - there were $1.00 off coupons, which when combined with the BOGO sale made the cereal just under $1.00 per package.  I was happy to discover that there was an O-shaped version of the cereal.  My kids loved it, though it turned the milk orangish-brown (maybe they liked that?).

And I was very excited about the Pepperidge Farm bread deal.  It was BOGO last week, and there was also a coupon in the Healthy Beginnings booklet for $1.50 off produce when you bought one loaf of Pepperidge Farm bread.  Free or cheap produce, woohoo!  (The booklet was available in-store a few weeks ago - wish I had gotten more, but I was trying to be nice to the other shoppers.)

I also bought 20 cans of tomato sauce.  Now, with 12 cans bought last week, I didn't really need them.  But they were 8¢ each after coupon, plus I was able to get two loaves of bread for free as well.  And, I'm planning on donating all of the tomato sauce.  See my new monthly challenge coming up soon!

Here's what I got:
