Fortune Follies Tuesday: List and Enter Giveaways! (Plus a $5 Target Gift Card Giveaway!)

Update: The giveaway for the Target $5 gift card has ended.  Please enter my new giveaway for a Publix $25 gift card.

Ammouncing a new feature at Frugal Follies: Fortune Follies Tuesday, where bloggers can list their giveaways, and readers can enter them!

I'm convinced that entering giveaways is a great way to acquire things frugally.  It doesn't cost anything but a bit of time, and blogs often offer great prizes to their readers.  I recently won $100 in grocery gift cards in blog giveaways!

So take some time and check out the giveaways listed below.  Also, be sure to check out my two giveaways ending today:  $30 CSN Stores gift code and  $65 in baby product coupons!

And, to start of the celebration, I have a new giveaway for today: Enter to win a $5 Target gift card!  This is the gift card that I had at the end of my Target frozen food bonanza.

To enter the giveaway, leave a comment below telling me about your best Target deal, or what you'd like to use this card to purchase.  This entry is mandatory. If you're posting a comment and don't have a Google account or OpenID, please leave an email address in your comment so that I can reach you if you've won!  This contest is only open to readers from the USA.

To get more entries (optional), you can do one or more of the following and then leave a separate comment for each action:

  • Follow me on Twitter (1 entry)
  • Subscribe to my RSS feed. (1 entry)
  • Become a fan on Facebook (1 entry)
  • Follow me with Google Friend Connect (find it on the left sidebar) (1 entry)
  • Follow me via e-mail (find it on the right sidebar) (2 entries)
  • Post this giveaway on your own blog (3 entries)
  • Post the link to this giveaway to a blog giveaway linky and leave a comment.  Please put the giveaway linky you used in your comment.  (1 entry per linky - you can do this as many times as you wish, but make sure each link is to a different site)
  • Tweet about this giveaway using the following wording (1 entry per day): I just entered to #win a Target $5 gift card via @FrugalFollies http://bit.ly/ijUspC
  • If you've previously done any of those, leave a comment saying you've done so.
Good luck!  This giveaway will end on Tuesday, March 15, at 11:59 pm.

Please link up your giveaways using the following format: Blog Name - Name of Contest - End Date.  Please link directly to your giveaway and not to your home page.  A link back to Fortune Follies Tuesday is always appreciated!

I have made quite a few deals at Target since following your blog. I've aqired a couple of gift cards after these deals and plan to add this one to it and buy a new swiffer mop.
Love your blog It has helped save and learn more everyday.

I am not sure what I would use this on. Although usually I am selfish when I get a gc from swagbucks or a giveaway because with our "real" money I end up spending it all on the twins or my husband. Of course I could just end up buying something for them with it anyway haha. I also love your blog. I am new to all of this and it's been really informative.

I follow on gfc.

I should have said in the above comment, they're my toddler's favorite form of embellishment (bandages, that is).

I always clean up big-time after major holidays, particularly Christmas. I buy a bunch of stuff that would be good for next year and always get surprised the following Christmas when half my shopping is already done.

The best deal I've gotten at Target was on multi-packaged light bulbs. They were on clearance and varying amounts of Target gc were inside...making my purchase virtually free.

my best Target deals have been recently. I clip tons of coupons from the Sunday paper and print them online and then bring them all in and find a young cashier who doesn't care which coupons he scans and I got $100 off last time. I had the products but he scanned more than one coupon for each product.
