ALDI Deerfield Beach: Bread for 25¢!

My apologies to the Frugal Follies readers throughout the United States and the world, but I have a deal that's just for my local South Florida readers.

Today only, bread is 25¢ per loaf at ALDI in Deerfield Beach!  I went in to buy a gallon of milk there (at $1.99, it's the cheapest milk in South Florida), and found the special deal.  I asked an employee about it; he said that the bread was set to expire in five days, so the store needed to move it out.

Bread freezes well, so don't worry too much about the expiration date!  I wouldn't keep it in the freezer for more than a couple of weeks, though, so don't go crazy with your buying.  And certainly use it up within five days after you defrost the bread.

I also found two other great deals there.  Celery was 25¢ per package, and bananas, normally 39¢ per pound, were buy one package, get one package free.  I don't know how long these deals will last, though.

No wonder that ALDI is now my favorite store!
