Swagbucks update

I joined Swagbucks a few months ago, when I had a contest to give away my referral.  I had heard a lot of blogger talking about how they had earned free gift cards and other prizes just by doing searches, but I wasn't sure if it really worked.

Well, so far, I've earned a total of fifteen $5 Amazon.com gift cards - and I really didn't put much time into it.  I just downloaded the Swagbucks toolbar, and when I want to do a search, I just type in my search words there.  A few times a day, I win some Swagbucks.  What could be easier?

I've also added to my Swagbucks when I've decided to purchase something online.  Once I do, I check their website to see if the company I want to buy from is a Swagbucks merchant.  If it is, then I click on their link from Swagbucks and make my purchase.  And, a few weeks later, I get 2 Swagbucks for every $1 purchased.

I love having the Amazon gift cards handy.  A couple weeks ago, while I was busy planning my daughter's bat mitzvah, I realized that my niece's birthday was in a couple of days, and I had neglected to buy and send her a gift.  Instead of just sending her a gift card, I used my Swagbucks to pick out a great gift and pay for expedited shipping.  It got there right on her birthday.  Yay!

So I definitely recommend joining Swagbucks - if you haven't yet, you should join now!
