Wednesday Weekly Shopping: Forty-six cents under budget!

I invite you to link up to your best grocery deals below!

Having been over budget the last few weeks, I was determined to not go over budget this week!  And I did it - I stayed under budget by 46 cents!  I had more to buy, but I sat down with my shopping spreadsheet, made a list of things I needed, and then deleted items until I got below my budget of $80 per week.  The other things?  Nothing that I absolutely needed... I'm sure that another sale will come quickly, and I'll get those items then.

I had one amazing trip earlier this week at Publix, where I got 3 bags of frozen Cascadian Farms berries, 2 4-packs of Yoplait Yo-Plus yogurt, and two boxes of Rice Krispies, and only spent $5.46 for over $27 in fairly healthy food.

I also bought a lot of produce, baking supplies, and dry beans to use during my freezer cooking weekend.  I'm looking forward to using the items I made during the next month.   But because I didn't have coupons for many of those items, my percent saved is fairly low.  I spent $79.54 on $122.04 worth of groceries, or a savings of 35%.

My trips were:
Publix 1: $13.43
Publix 2: $5.46
Walmart: $2.44
Penn Dutch: $8.32
Publix 3: $15.29
Western Beef: $15.37
Target: $11.46
Publix 4: $7.78

Total: $79.54

See everything I bought here.
