I took a quick trip to Target last Friday to pick up some basics. I was thrilled to find a pound of strawberries for $1! Because of the cold Florida winter (relatively speaking), the strawberry plants had a much longer growing season, resulting in a huge crop this year! (Unfortunately, the cold weather killed tomato and pepper crops, making those prices through the roof now.)
Also, eggs were $1, so I picked up two cartons. I should have gotten more! And there was an unexpected deal on cream cheese - I wish I had had my coupons with me! All told, I spent $12.43 on all this, plus a gallon of milk which isn't pictured.
