It&#39;s so gratifying to see that the lessons I learned in frugality came through in my stories. My grandparents, my mother, and the way I was brought up all instilled great lessons in me about the difference between the icky feeling of &quot;deserving&quot; something and the wonderful feeling of earning something.<br />Thanks also for the great tips on the other books; I&#39;m going to look a few of these up. She&#39;s certainly not saying that they are true.
