Publix: Cereal and hot sauce

I missed shopping at Publix last week, so I headed back on Wednesday to get some of the previous week's deals.

Unfortunately, there wasn't a lot to get!  When I planned the trip, most of the good coupons for the deals had expired or were no longer available to print.  And when I got to the store, I couldn't find a few of the items that I wanted to get.  For instance, I had printed off coupons for $0.75 off Vanilla Chex cereal, but my store didn't carry Vanilla Chex.

So this is all of the food I got on the trip.  I also purchased Goodnites for my daughter, which brought my total over $30 and allowed me to use an Enjoy the City $5 off $30 Winn-Dixie coupon.  I am really loving those coupons - why didn't I get them before?

Here's what I got:

4 Chex cereal @ BOGO $3.69 = $7.38
- 2 $1/2 General Mills Big G Cereals, exp. 8/3/13 (SS 06/23/13)
= $5.38 for four, or $1.35 each

3 Old El Paso taco sauce @ $1.79 = $5.37 (this deal is still available!)
- $0.60/3 Old El Paso Products printable
- $1/3 Old El Paso Products Publix printable
= $3.77 for three, or $1.26 each

(I also bought Goodnites for $19.99, bringing the total over $30)

- $5 off $30 Enjoy the City coupon

Total spent: $4.15
Total saved compared to Publix full prices: $15.98
