$40 Amazon code and Kindle Fire Giveaway

I love Amazon gift code giveaways. And I love electronics giveaways. So why not have both?

Enter below to win a Kindle Fire AND a $40 Amazon code, then leave me a comment letting me know you've entered!

Delightfully has teamed up with Happy Mothering and Green Moms Media to bring you a giveaway of a Kindle Fire and $40 Amazon Gift Card to spread the word about their new virtual gift-wrap service!

Think about how many gifts are given online now, between music, gift cards, subscriptions, e-books… I’m sure you’ve sent at least one online gift – and likely will again before Christmas. Delightfully is a new service that allows you to hand-wrap your online gift!

With Delightfully, you can create the perfect ‘unwrapping’ moment for any gift occasion. Say goodbye to wasteful paper and tape and say hello to this eco-friendly gift-wrap alternative!

Delightfully is ideal for sending a personalized message to friends and family who you can’t spend the holidays with in person. You can check out an example of the Delightfully gift-wrap here. At only $3, it’s a very nice way to personalize the otherwise impersonal online gift!

To thank you for taking the time to consider their virtual gift-wrapping service, Delightfully is offering our readers a chance to win a Kindle Fire & $40 Amazon.com gift card!

The Kindle Fire is thin, light and durable. It features:

  • 1.2GHz processor and 1GB of RAM
  • 8GB on-device storage with free unlimited cloud storage for all your Amazon content
  • Apps such as Facebook, Netflix, Twitter, Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo!, HBO GO and Pandora
  • Ultra-fast web browsing over built-in Wi-Fi
  • The ability to stream instant videos and access the lending library for Amazon Prime Members
  • Kindle FreeTime - a free, personalized tablet experience just for kids that allows you to set daily screen limits and give access to appropriate content for each child
  • Up to 9 hours of reading, surfing the web on Wi-Fi, watching video, or listening to music.

And, with a $40 Amazon gift card, you can load up your new Kindle Fire with some new books and movies, or use the Delightfully service to send a gift to a loved one!

Dan Call,  November 27, 2012 at 7:15 AM

i like the idea of adding photos and/or notes to make the online gifts more personal.

Unknown November 27, 2012 at 7:43 AM

I am entering because I would use it to be able to read more and get my 12 year old to read more also.

You send a gift card and you can make it more personal by adding pictures....then hiding the gift underneath the pictures. Really neat idea. Makes it feel like you've 'unwrapped' a gift. I love the idea and would use it to send a gift card to family who are out of town. They would get the gift card, but also see updated pictures. Julie Myers

I must admit that in this society there is so many ecards, gifts, etc that this is clever. I like how they used photos, etc to make a surprise. Not only are photos a great gift, but then there is more under the layers ingenius!!! [I wish I invented this LOL]

Pameula Henson,  November 27, 2012 at 9:40 AM

Living 12 hours away from most of my immediate family, I think Delightfully would be the perfect way to send Christmas or birthday gifts to those I can't see in a given year. Most of my family members are extremely tech-savvy, so I think they'd really appreciate this clever delivery method!

What a great idea!! for friends and family who live far away, it's often much easier to gift online and Delightfully makes that such a "delightful" experience! Love it!

ckorando November 28, 2012 at 11:00 AM

I've never heard of Delightfully and anything like it before. What a great idea! I love how it's like an actual gift, but digital. It's a great way to embrace the digital age, yet still leave the gift a surprise!

I think it is a great idea that you can personalize with your own photos. I would use it for my friends who are far away and that I don't see often.

Delightfully allows you to put together photos or messages to hide a gift hidden from you to someone special. It would be an interesting way of giving to the grand kids.

I love reading, & the thought of having so many books at my fingertips is exciting

ravenbrook December 6, 2012 at 5:54 PM

This would be perfect for my wife's home business. She could send thank you gifts in the form of discount codes to customers.

Rhiannon Fieri December 11, 2012 at 11:02 AM

Now that's a new one! You use your own photos to create "wrapping paper" for online gifts...a nice, personal, fun touch! I think it would be especially good for things like sending magazine subscriptions to kids, so that they still get that sense of unwrapping something in the moment.

cubbieduke@gmail.com December 11, 2012 at 6:09 PM

This is new to me! I never heard of this service and it is certainly a good one.

mperkins37 December 17, 2012 at 9:52 AM

Not really something I would use, myself, I am against Gift Cards as it isn't personable.
