éclos Skin Care Review / Giveaway #EclosBeauty

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of éclos Skin Care for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Skin care, me?  Usually not.  I wash my face, maybe use a little moisturizer in the winter, and... well, that's about it.

So I'm probably not the best candidate to give the éclos Skin Care Starter Kit a try.  But I figured, why not?  Although I think that my skin is in pretty good shape for someone my age, I am developing those fine lines that come with age.  Why not give this kit a try to see if it improves my skin?

According to the folks at éclos, éclos features Apple Stem Cells extracted from a rare Swiss apple which have shown tremendous ability to stimulate skin stem cells, encouraging aging skin to behave like younger skin. Plant extracts, vitamins and anti-oxidants combine with the Apple Stem Cell technology to help minimize the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and tired skin.

Personally, this reminds me of the episode of The Simpsons where Homer endorses the PowerSauce bar, which gets its power from applesaucicity.  Really?  Apples can improve my skin?  I can see how eating an apple a day might help your skin as well as keeping the doctor away.  But how will apple-based skin care products help my skin?

The kit contained the following items:

• Facial Cleanser Skin Prep
• Cellular Activator Face Serum
• Moisture Therapy Regenerative Cream
• Restorative Eye Cream
• Instant Radiance Facial Scrub
• Skin Renewal Clay Mask
• éclos Terry Cloth Head Band

I tried the products for a week.  And how did they work?  Here are some before and after pictures:

I really liked that there were several different products to try.  Personally, I probably wouldn't spend money to buy each of the full-sized products.  The Starter Kit allowed me to try each one and see how I liked it before investing more money.

I had difficulty getting the  Restorative Eye Cream spray to work.  Despite dozens of pumps, I couldn't get it started.  I was getting disappointed, as that was the product I wanted to try the most, when I asked my husband to give it a try.  He was able to get it started..

I enjoyed how the different creams felt - they made my skin smooth and supple.  I liked using the Clay Mask - I felt like I was getting a professional facial!  But did they work?

Honestly, I didn't see a difference in the fine lines on my face.  But I did only try it for a week - I'll be trying it for a couple more weeks to see if I can see a difference.  And I did enjoy using the products, and they definitely left my skin feeling nice and smooth.

Would you like to try éclos Skin Care products?   The starter kit is a $40 value, but priced at $19.99.  It's available at Rite Aid, Walgreens, and GNC, as well as at Ulta Beauty stores.

Or would you like to try it for free?
